  • 1,100 AMP VARIABLE MOBILE AC CURRENT SOURCE

    Emerging Technologies, LLC has been called upon, on numerous occasions, to provide an AC current source as part of a test system design. This particular current source required 1,100 amps with a minimum compliance voltage of 4VAC.

  • HALL EFFECT SENSOR CALIBRATION SYSTEM

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop a calibration system based on an existing customer prototype. The system was to calibrate Hall Effect sensors with ranges from 37A to 420A

  • HIGH SPEED DAQ AND CONTROL SYSTEM

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to generate a functional specification for and develop a high speed data acquisition and control system for a high current test lab. The specifications required the system utilize off-the-shelf technology where possible. The system was required to measure and control events drawing up to 80k amps at up to 800VAC.

  • CUSTOM CONFIGURATION READER INTERFACE

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop an interface that could provide communication between a customer supplied device and a host computer. The interface also needed the ability to control the device I/O via RS232 request from the host computer. The MCU on the interface was programmed to put the device into communication mode using a proprietary synchronous communication. Data is read back from the device using a proprietary asynchronous variable baud rate communication. The information is then communicated with the host computer using standard asynchronous serial communication.
    Additionally this interface utilizes optical isolation between the host computer and the device.
