  • TRANSFORMER TEST SYSTEM

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to utilize our years of experience in transformer testing to develop and build a custom transformer test system for pole- and pad-mounted power transformers. The new system was based on an existing manual test setup and was integrated into the customers’ existing test lab utilizing a pre-existing test cage. The new system was to automatically run a set of tests using different parameters based on voltage and power ratings as well as store test result data. A wide variety of product needing test was taken into consideration and a configurable drop down list of part numbers was incorporated into the new design. A safety system was also integrated into the final product to protect personnel while testing is performed.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to provide a replacement CT ratio test system. An existing test system was in place and failing due to age.

  • PAD MOUNT SWITCH GEAR TCC TEST SYSTEM

    Emerging Technologies, LLC was called upon to design and build a custom Pad Mount Switchgear Test System incorporating a customer provided manual TCC tester. The system was to further automate the testing process by adding additional functionality over the existing test system and enhance operator safety features and current accuracy.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to provide a replacement switchgear test system. An existing test system was in place and failing due to age.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to provide a replacement recloser test system. An existing test system was in place and failing due to age. The system required flexibility to test multiple variations of made to order reclosers and
    sectionalizers.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop a custom test system to verify capacitance values of the DUT on a per model basis.

  • PYTHON SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FOR ANALYSIS AND TEST

    Emerging Technologies, LLC was called upon to re-deploy a custom test analysis program for high speed data acquisition using Python.

  • PRODUCTION PROCESS TRACKING AND REPORT SYSTEM

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop production process tracking and report system for a manufacturing production line. The customer-provided specification called for an easy to use software application that could help them track the process of multiple components and assemblies in a production line to eliminate the need for physical paperwork and minimizing potential operator error.

  • PLANT MONITOR SYSTEM

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop and program a LabVIEW application to replace a program that was built in Visual Basic 5 and runs on a Windows 95 computer. The new application was brought up to the latest version of LabVIEW and run on a windows 10 PC. Additionally, the database storage was updated from using a Microsoft Access database to a Microsoft SQL database.

  • OEM RELAY INTERFACE BOARD

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop a circuit board that would interface TTL level control outputs with 24VDC field hardware. Additionally, field inputs and discrete communication points were to be routed through the interface.

  • CUSTOM PROGRAMMING/TEST SYSTEM INTERFACE

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop an interface that could facilitate four related interfaces to the single customer device. The interfaces consisted of “piggy back” connection of a calibration chip or the in circuit serial programmer (ICSP), asynchronous to synchronous serial converter, and remote controlled discrete I/O.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to provide a custom 24 load channel power supply test system. HiPot, Functional, and Environmental Stress Tests were required of the system.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop and build an EOL Test System to test Pre-Molded Circuit Boards and PostMolded Final product. The tests were designed to verify specific stages of DUT testing had been completed on the assembly line prior to final molded product testing.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop custom test system to load and monitor 24 four channel power supply modules during ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) testing using a customer provided environmental chamber.

    Emerging Technologies, LLC. was called upon to develop a system to automatically, gather a subset of data, mathematically determine the remaining set of data, generate microcontroller source code based on the data, assemble the code, program the microcontroller, and test the programmed device.
